Tense কী এবং কেন এটি এত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ?

Tense মানে হলো ক্রিয়ার কাল—অর্থাৎ কোনো কাজ কখন ঘটেছে, ঘটছে বা ঘটবে তা বোঝানো। ইংলিশ গ্রামারে মূলত তিনটি প্রধান Tense রয়েছে:

  1. Present Tense (বর্তমান কাল)
  2. Past Tense (অতীত কাল)
  3. Future Tense (ভবিষ্যৎ কাল)

প্রতিটি Tense-এর আবার চারটি রূপ আছে: Indefinite, Continuous, Perfect, এবং Perfect Continuous। এই পোস্টে আমরা ফোকাস করব Past Indefinite Tense এবং Present Indefinite Tense-এর উপর, কারণ এগুলো দৈনন্দিন কথাবার্তায় সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

1. Introduction

প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী, আজ আমরা শিখব কীভাবে Interrogative Sentence (প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য) তৈরি করতে হয়। Interrogative Sentence মানে এমন বাক্য যা প্রশ্ন করে এবং যার উত্তর হ্যাঁ/না বা কোনো তথ্য দিয়ে দেওয়া হয়। প্রশ্ন করার জন্য আমরা auxiliary verb (am, is, are, do, does, did, will, can) বা WH word (What, Who, Where, When, Why, How, Which) ব্যবহার করি। যেমন:

  • Positive: You eat rice. – তুমি ভাত খাও।
  • Interrogative: Do you eat rice? – তুমি কি ভাত খাও?
  • Positive: She is reading. – সে পড়ছে।
  • Interrogative: Is she reading? – সে কি পড়ছে?
  • Positive: He went to school. – সে স্কুলে গিয়েছিল।
  • Interrogative: Did he go to school? – সে কি স্কুলে গিয়েছিল?

এই ক্লাসে তোমরা শিখবে কীভাবে Yes/No প্রশ্ন ও WH প্রশ্ন তৈরি করতে হয়, কোন auxiliary verb কোথায় বসে, tense অনুযায়ী প্রশ্ন, ধাপে ধাপে বড় প্রশ্ন তৈরি, phrasal verb এবং মজার exercise।

18. Conclusion

Great job, kids! Today you learned How to Make Interrogative Sentences. You know that questions can be Yes/No or WH questions. You learned to use do/does/did for simple tenses, am/is/are/was/were for continuous tenses, and will/can/should for modals. You also practiced converting positive to interrogative, making longer questions step by step, and using phrasal verbs.

Remember:

  • Put the auxiliary verb before the subject to make a question.
  • Use WH words before the auxiliary for information questions.
  • End every question with a question mark (?).
