17. Conclusion

Great job, kids! Today you learned Modifiers – Head Word, Pre-Modifier and Post-Modifier. You know that the head word is the main noun, pre-modifiers come before it (articles, adjectives, possessives, quantifiers), and post-modifiers come after it (prepositional phrases, relative clauses). You practiced positive, negative, interrogative sentences, built longer noun phrases step by step, and used phrasal verbs.

Remember:

  • Head Word = main noun.
  • Pre-Modifiers = before the noun.
  • Post-Modifiers = after the noun.
  • A noun phrase can have both pre- and post-modifiers.
