যেমন — “Habib will come here, won’t he?”

  • Affirmative Statement → Negative Tag
  • Negative Statement → Affirmative Tag
  • Nobody / Nothing → Singular বানানো যাবে না, “they / it” বসবে
  • Let’s → shall we · Thank you → don’t I

17. Conclusion

Great job, kids! Today you learned Tag Question in Details. You know that a tag question is a mini question at the end of a sentence. Remember the golden rule: positive statement → negative tag, negative statement → positive tag. You practiced tag questions with be, do, does, did, will, can, should, have, has, had, made longer tag questions step by step, and used phrasal verbs.

Remember:

  • Use the same auxiliary in the tag.
  • Use a pronoun in the tag.
  • Positive statement gets a negative tag; negative statement gets a positive tag.
  • Tag questions end with a question mark (?).
