18. Conclusion
Great job, kids! Today you learned Active-Passive of Simple Past Tense in full detail. You know the basic structure, positive, negative, interrogative, imperative, optative, exclamatory, modals, and contractions. The passive structure is Object + was/were + V3 + by + Subject. For modals, use Object + modal + have been + V3 + by + Subject. You practiced building longer sentences step by step and using phrasal verbs.
Remember:
Use was + V3 for singular and were + V3 for plural in Simple Past passive.
Use Let + object + be + V3 for imperative.
Use May + object + have been + V3 for optative.
Use modal + have been + V3 for modal past passive.
