যখন দুইটি Subject নিচের Correlative Conjunction দিয়ে যুক্ত হয়, তখন Verb দ্বিতীয় (নিকটতম) Subject অনুযায়ী নির্ধারিত হয়:

Modal Auxiliary (can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must) এবং Semi-Modal (have to, has to, had to, need, dare)-এর পরে মূল Verb সবসময় Base Form (V1)।
