অনেক শিক্ষার্থী ভাবনা-চিন্তা না করেই Essay লেখা শুরু করে দেন। কিন্তু একটি গোছানো, organised (সুসংগঠিত) Essay লিখতে চাইলে লেখার আগে Brainstorming (ভাবগুচ্ছ সৃষ্টি / ধারণা ঝড়) করা অত্যন্ত জরুরি। Brainstorming শুধু তোমার চিন্তাগুলোকে সাজায় না, এটি একটি শক্তিশালী Thesis Statement (মূল বক্তব্য / গবেষণামূলক বক্তব্য) লিখতেও দারুণ সহায়ক। আজ আমরা দেখব কীভাবে Brainstorming করে তিনটি আইডিয়া বের করে এনে সেগুলো দিয়ে একাধিক উপায়ে Thesis Statement তৈরি করা যায় এবং Body Paragraph (মূল অনুচ্ছেদ) সাজানো যায়।
🧠 Brainstorming কী এবং কেন দরকার?
Brainstorming মানে প্রদত্ত বিষয়ের ওপর যত রকম ভাবনা আসে, সেগুলোকে কোনো অর্ডার ছাড়াই প্রথমে কাগজে লিখে ফেলা। তারপর সেখান থেকে সেরা তিনটি যুক্তি বা কারণ বেছে নেওয়া। এতে যা হয়:
- উত্তর গোছানো যায়
- পরিষ্কার Thesis Statement লেখা যায়
- Body Paragraph-এর ধারাবাহিকতা বজায় থাকে
✍️ Brainstorming থেকে Thesis Statement-এ পৌঁছানোর ৩টি ধাপ:
- তিনটি idea বের করো – যেকোনো প্রশ্নের জন্য কমপক্ষে তিনটি কারণ বা দিক ভাবো।
- Idea গুলোকে গুরুত্ব অনুযায়ী সাজাও – সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণটি প্রথমে বা শেষে রাখো (দুটোই চলবে)।
- Thesis Statement লেখো – সেই তিনটি idea ব্যবহার করে এক বাক্যে মূল বক্তব্য দাঁড় করাও।
মনে রেখো, Thesis Statement-এ idea গুলো যে ক্রমে (order) থাকবে, Body Paragraph গুলোও ঠিক সে ক্রমে লিখতে হবে।

Step 1: Brainstorming
প্রথমে খাতায় লিখে ফেলো সব কারণ—পরে গুছিয়ে নেবে। ধরো, চিন্তা করার পর তুমি নিচের তিনটি বেছে নিলে:
- New experiences (নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা)
- Stress relief (মানসিক চাপ থেকে মুক্তি)
- Learning about cultures (বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতি সম্পর্কে জানা)
Step 2: Ordering ideas
তুমি যদি ভাবো সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ মানসিক চাপ মুক্তি, তারপর নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা, তারপর সংস্কৃতির জ্ঞান—তাহলে ক্রম দাঁড়াবে:
Stress relief → New experiences → Learning about cultures
Step 3: Writing Thesis Statements (বিভিন্ন প্যাটার্ন)
Pattern 1 (সাধারণ):
English: The main reasons why people love to travel are stress relief, new experiences, and learning about cultures.
বাংলা অনুবাদ: মানুষ ভ্রমণ করতে ভালোবাসার প্রধান কারণগুলো হলো মানসিক চাপ থেকে মুক্তি, নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা এবং বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতি সম্পর্কে জানা।
Pattern 2 (সোজা):
English: People love to travel because of stress relief, new experiences, and learning about cultures.
বাংলা অনুবাদ: মানুষ ভ্রমণ ভালোবাসে মানসিক চাপ মুক্তি, নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা ও সংস্কৃতি সম্পর্কে জানার কারণে।
Pattern 3 (কারণ আগে):
English: Because of stress relief, new experiences, and learning about cultures, people love to travel.
বাংলা অনুবাদ: মানসিক চাপমুক্তি, নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা ও বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতির জ্ঞানের কারণে মানুষ ভ্রমণ করতে ভালোবাসে।
Pattern 4 (আরেকটি উপায়):
English: The fact that it offers stress relief, new experiences, and cultural learning makes travel so beloved.
বাংলা অনুবাদ: এটি মানসিক চাপমুক্তি, নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা ও সাংস্কৃতিক জ্ঞান প্রদান করে বলেই ভ্রমণ এত প্রিয়।
Body Paragraph Outline:
- Paragraph 1: Stress relief
- Paragraph 2: New experiences

Step 2: Ordering → Least important to most important (কম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ থেকে বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ)
তুমি যদি ভাবো সবচেয়ে বড় কারণ “quick entertainment”, তার আগে “easy to access”, তার আগে “cheap or free”, তাহলে এই ক্রম ব্যবহার করতে পারো: Cheap or free → Easy to access → Quick entertainment (তবে শেষে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণটা দিয়ে জোর দেওয়া যায়, যা পরবর্তী Thesis-এ প্রকাশ পাবে)।
Step 3: Thesis Statements
Pattern 1:
English: Mobile games are so popular because they are cheap or free, easy to access, and offer quick entertainment.
বাংলা: মোবাইল গেম এত জনপ্রিয় কারণ এগুলো সস্তা বা বিনামূল্যে, সহজে পাওয়া যায় এবং তাৎক্ষণিক বিনোদন দেয়।
Pattern 2 (মূল কারণ শেষে):
English: Young people are drawn to mobile games because they are cheap or free and easy to access, but mostly because they provide quick entertainment.
বাংলা: তরুণরা মোবাইল গেমের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয় কারণ এগুলো সস্তা বা ফ্রি এবং সহজে পাওয়া যায়, তবে বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই কারণ এটি তাৎক্ষণিক বিনোদন দেয়।

বাংলা: বৈশ্বিক যোগাযোগ ও বিদেশে পড়াশোনা উল্লেখযোগ্য কারণ হলেও, ইংরেজি শেখার সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ হলো এটি যে ক্যারিয়ারের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করে।
English (balanced): Career opportunities, higher education abroad, and global communication make learning English essential today.

তুমি ইচ্ছেমতো সাজাতে পারো। যেমন “newspaper” উদাহরণে:

- Least to most (জোর শেষে): online news → time → not interested → শেষে জোর দিয়ে বোঝানো যে আসল কারণ uninterested।

- প্রথমে খাতায় যা আসে লিখে ফেলো, বাছবিচার পরে করো।
- কমপক্ষে ৩টি idea না আসা পর্যন্ত চিন্তা চালিয়ে যাও।
- নিজেকে প্রশ্ন করো: “এই বিষয়টির সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিক কী?” – এতে সঠিক ক্রম পাবে।
