আজকের ক্লাসে আমরা ৩টি খুব দরকারী Verb শিখবো – Let, Lie, Light।

1. LET – অনুমতি দেওয়া / করতে দেওয়া

Word Meaning: Let = অনুমতি দেওয়া, করতে দেওয়া, ছেড়ে দেওয়া
Forms: Let – Let – Let – Letting | সব Tense এ একই! উচ্চারণ: লেট

Phrasal Verb Meaning:

Let me play = আমাকে খেলতে দাও
Let others play = অন্যদের খেলতে দাও – Let others play together. অন্যদের একসাথে খেলতে দাও।
Let go = ছেড়ে দেওয়া – Let go of the rope slowly. দড়িটি আস্তে ছেড়ে দাও।

2. LIE – শুয়ে পড়া / শুয়ে থাকা / মিথ্যা বলা (দ্বিতীয় অর্থ)

Word Meaning:

Lie (lay, lain) = শুয়ে পড়া, শুয়ে থাকা – I lie down to rest.
Lie (lied, lied) = মিথ্যা বলা (আমরা মিথ্যা বলি না)

Phrasal Verb Meaning:

Lie down = শুয়ে পড়া – Lie down to rest. শুয়ে বিশ্রাম নাও।
