1. Introduction

  • Present Perfect Continuous:
    Active: I have been eating rice for two hours. – আমি দুই ঘণ্টা ধরে ভাত খাচ্ছি।
    Passive: Rice has been being eaten by me for two hours. – আমার দ্বারা দুই ঘণ্টা ধরে ভাত খাওয়া হচ্ছে।
  • Past Perfect Continuous:

Great job, kids! Today you learned the Comparison of Active-Passive of Present, Past and Future Perfect Continuous Tense. You know that Present uses has/have been being + V3, Past uses had been being + V3, and Future uses will have been being + V3. You practiced positive, negative, interrogative, imperative, optative, exclamatory, modals, contractions, built longer sentences step by step, and used phrasal verbs.

Remember:

  • These passive forms are extremely rare; use active voice in daily conversation.
  • Identify the tense by the auxiliary: has/have been being (Present), had been being (Past), will have been being (Future).
  • Use by before the doer in passive.
