২. Telling Your Name (নাম বলা)

শুধু “আমি ঢাকা থেকে” বলাই যথেষ্ট নয়, আপনি কোথায় জন্মেছেন, বড় হয়েছেন, বর্তমানে কোথায় থাকেন – এগুলো গুছিয়ে বলতে হবে।

Phrasal Verb: come from

Phrasal Verb:

take up (কোনো ভূমিকা নেওয়া): I have recently taken up a teaching position.
go through (কোনো অভিজ্ঞতার মধ্য দিয়ে যাওয়া): I am going through an extensive training period.

৫. Hobby / Liking / Disliking (শখ ও পছন্দ-অপছন্দ)

পছন্দের জন্য like, enjoy, be fond of, be crazy about, be into; অপছন্দের জন্য dislike, hate, can’t stand, am not a fan of ইত্যাদি কাঠামো ব্যবহার করুন।

Grammar Note: Stative verb “like”-এর পর gerund বা infinitive উভয়ই চলে, কিন্তু hobby বোঝাতে gerund (I like gardening) বেশি স্বাভাবিক।
